Fayette Co., Kentucky was formed 1780 from Kentucky Co, Virginia

1794 January 27 Gilbert Simpson made his will naming his sons Thomas, Samuel, John and Gilbert and daughters Jemima Byrn, Susannah Shore, Ann Masterson, Tamer Simpson and Hannah Simpson.
